California rolls, cat battles, 300 revisited
Friday, September 7, 2007
I think this will be a short post in celebration of the weekend finally arriving. This was the longest four-day workweek ever.
Sometimes there’s just no better lunch on a Friday afternoon than brown rice California rolls, with wasabi and pickled ginger (one of the few “pickled” items I enjoy). A delicious treat every now and then. Such as today.
Here’s a brand new YouTube discovery: “The Mean Kitty Song.” It certainly reminds me of my six-month-old cat Eli. Very cute. Plus, this cat battle is basically what happens between Smokey (a large stocky black cat) and Eli (a young, medium-sized white-and-tabby cat, full of energy) at our house every day.
Here’s another 300 parody, from Ninja Asylum, created without using any footage of the movie actors. It’s very funny and well made. Don’t know how I missed this one before. “C’mon! You made me spill my coffee!”
Makes me want to go revisit some of my other favorite 300 trailers. And go eat at the Olive Garden. Mmm . . . endless soup, salad, and breadsticks.
“Instead ask yourself: What would Optimus Prime do?”
