Norm MacDonald on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on September 14, 2006. Was it too soon for Crocodile Hunter jokes? Nah. He cracks Jon up.
Total Recall In Your Eyes, in which Kuato sings Peter Gabriel. Kuato also sings Chocolate Rain.
There’s also this Chocolate Rain McDonald’s Spot, which I found absurdly funny. Though I think you need to be familiar with Tay Zonday and the “Chocolate Rain” phenomenon.

The “I Miss Moranis” music video about a man’s love for Rick Moranis.
Monster Fish
An article from The Daily Mail: “Anglers hook 100-year-old monster fish weighing over 35 stone.” That is one prehistoric, scary-looking fish! Apparently it’s a 500 lb. white Sturgeon from Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada. It was released after being microchipped.
Technology
A Discovery News article called “‘Smart’ Fitting Room Suggests What to Wear” details a new shopping-comparison system from a student at Oregon State University: “Now a dressing room equipped with cameras and interactive displays could lead to intelligent fitting rooms that connect shoppers to a social fashion network, where they can see themselves and others wearing different outfits.” Cameras in dressing rooms? What could go wrong?

Do you know about the open source video recording software CamStudio? Its history is tied to Macromedia’s (now Adobe’s) Captivate software. Here’s what it does: “CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs).”
Some sarcastic commentary on Apple’s new World’s Thinnest Notebook (MacBook Air) from of a Joy of Tech comic.
Movies
By the way, I enjoyed Cloverfield last weekend. See my 15-word review at Filmometer.
